The primary role of the CAL RN1 will be to provide on-demand telephone-based care management services through a 24/7 Nurse Advice Line. CAL RN1's will work closely with senior nurses to assess symptoms/concerns of callers, determine the urgency and type of care needed, refer to providers, and give health information and advice to callers. The goal is to reduce unnecessary visits, provide information for self-care, and coordinate care across the healthcare delivery system.
